The service
Thumio.app provides free, browser-based tools for designing and checking YouTube thumbnails, along with guides and references. Features marked as in development are not yet available and may change before release.
Your content and your thumbnails
You keep all rights to the images you add and to the thumbnails you export. You may use exported thumbnails for any lawful purpose, including on monetised videos. You are responsible for having the rights to any photos, logos or other material you add, and for following YouTube’s Community Guidelines and thumbnail policies.
Our content
The website, its design, text, templates, illustrations and software belong to Thumio.app or its licensors. You may use our templates and illustrations inside the thumbnails you create. You may not resell or redistribute them as standalone assets or template packs.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the tools to create content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive or harmful.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site.
- Do not imply that Thumio.app endorses your content.
Third-party trademarks
YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. Thumio.app is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, Google or any other company named on this site.
No guarantees
The tools are provided “as is.” We work hard to keep them accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or any particular result, including views, clicks or channel growth. Simulated previews approximate how thumbnails may appear and do not reflect YouTube’s actual interface or data.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Thumio.app is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the free tools. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product grows, for example when accounts or paid plans launch. The date above shows the latest version. See also our privacy policy.
Contact
A contact address and company details for the operator of Thumio.app will be published here before accounts launch.
